1. The structure
Reinforced concrete walls, roof and floor, waterproofing, joints and wall penetrations. These follow directly from the structural calculation for the planned placement. A shelter covered with soil carries different loads from one standing in the open.
Because the structure is made in the plant, this block is easy to calculate. It changes mainly with floor area and, for modular systems, the number of modules.
2. Technical fit-out
Ventilation with filters, the blast door, electrics, emergency power, water and sanitation. This block decides how long the shelter can actually be used, and it depends heavily on how many people it is for and for how long.
A room meant for a few hours needs different equipment from one that has to run on its own for several days. That decision comes before the quote.
3. Work on site
Excavation, foundation, transport, crane, connections and putting the garden back in order. This is the block with the widest spread. A level plot with easy access costs far less here than a tight sloping site with high groundwater.
4. Planning and fees
Drawings, structural calculations, permit documents and the fees charged by the authority. The amount depends on where you are and what the local authority requires.
Fit-out levels
We work with three fit-out levels. The price is made up of the level you choose plus the work on your site. You receive a quote in which each block is shown separately.
